Who is Gabrielle "Gabby"?

Gabby  is a 200 hour trained yoga instructor, with over 300 hours actively teaching yoga. Gabby grew up in Frederick, Maryland a majority of her life but was blessed with the opportunity to live on the beautiful island of Guam for some time as well. She lived in Guam for three years before moving back to Frederick. Gabby found yoga while she was making a shift in her lifestyle. Coming from an athletic background of competitive cheerleading for much of her life, Gabby was initially drawn to yoga for all of the physical benefits. Later she began to look into the holistic lifestyle and found a true passion for organic foods and healing within. With the help of fellow teachers and friends expressing how wonderful and inspiring teacher training is, Gabby finally decided to do it! Gabby completed her teacher training at Sid Yoga Center in Towson with Lindsay Lusignea and Sid McNairy. 

Who is Gabby "on the mat"?

Gabby loves the empowering tone of the practice while still feeling a sense of peace and ease in her body. As a teacher Gabby brings openness and acceptance to the class. She also brings power while flowing with grace. Students receive inspiration and openness throughout their body from her classes. Gabby’s down-to-earth, go with the flow personality leaves little room for judgement or expectation students may have for their practice. While Gabby inspires and motivates her students to push past their comfort zone; she is all about an intuitive and meaningful practice. To Gabby, yoga is not about the perfect posture you can get your body into. She teaches to lead with your heart and understand that each practice will be completely different than the last. 

What is Gabby's Power Vinyasa Yoga class?

Gabby's power vinyasa classes are typically heated, but not always! During this class you will find yourself in a flow that inspires you to push your edge. While still meeting your practice with compassion, your curiosity will set in and you will find yourself reaching new depths in your practice! Expect movement, sweat, a variety of postures and ample time to try new things. Gabby loves to do things she once thought was impossible and shares that same amount of curiosity in every class she teaches! Each class will end with a nice restorative practice to balance the body and mind out from all of the previous activity.

When is the class offered?

The class is being offered on Saturday mornings from 10:15am to 11:30am beginning this Saturday, February 27th. 

What is the cost of the class?

The up-charge for this class is $10 for Members. Drop-ins (a.k.a. non-members) will be $20.

What do I need to bring for class?

Please bring your own yoga mat and dress comfortably so that you may move freely. 

Do I have to register for class ahead of time?

Yes, we are asking for advanced registration for this class.
